You ask, I answer.

Does my homeowners insurance cover my boat?

If your boat does not exceed 26 feet in length and is under 25 horsepower, your homeowners insurance will provide personal liability protection, but not physical damage to your boat.

This is designed to extend coverage to canoes, rowboats and small sailboats that do not have significant power.

If your “vessel” does exceed 25’ or 25 HP, you should have a stand-alone marine policy.

Whether it’s a small or large fishing boat, pontoon, yacht, cruiser or speedboat, we have the best market for coverage and price in NJ.  Drop us a line!
